RFQ General and FSB Contractor for New Dispatch Facility

The Town of Westborough, Massachusetts, is seeking qualifications for a General and FSB Contractor to perform renovations on a two-story structure with a basement located at 20 Phillips Street. This project, estimated at 11.5 million dollars, involves gut renovations, the addition of an elevator, and the installation of new roofing, windows, finishes, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The scope also includes exterior site work and requires coordination with the district's radio and dispatch vendors as well as existing and new site utilities. The construction duration is expected to be approximately 12 months. This procurement is conducted as a two-phase process pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 149, starting with this Request for Qualifications. Only firms that are prequalified and possess a DCAMM Certificate will be eligible to submit bids in the second phase. The project is managed by The Vertex Companies LLC as the Owner's Project Manager, with The Galante Architecture Studio serving as the Project Designer.
