The City of Syracuse's Lead Grant Program is designed to identify residential properties that require lead-based paint (LBP) remediation. Once a property that meets program requirements is identified, the City will contract with qualified vendors to perform all pre- and post- remediation testing and evaluations, including the following activities: 1. Complete X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) testing to determine the presence of LBP 2. Perform preliminary LBP inspections to determine the presence and condition of all LBP Hazards 3. Develop Risk Assessments alongside scopes of work necessary to address identified LBP Hazards 4.
