Rockford Public Schools is soliciting bids for the turnkey installation of a District Data Center Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) at the Rockford Freshman Center in Rockford, Michigan. The scope of work includes the demolition and disposal of the existing 3-phase UPS and all associated electrical work. The required equipment is a modular, scalable, and digital UPS, specifically a Vertiv AMP2 (Model 56SC030BNCNNA06) or an approved equal, rated at 30 KVA with 15 KVA capacity. The system must comply with Energy Star 2.0, UL listing, FCC Rules and Regulations Part 15, and IBC 2021 seismic ratings. All work must be performed by manufacturer-trained personnel, and the contractor is responsible for providing as-built drawings, instruction manuals, and certified test results. Bids are due by November 24, 2026, following a pre-bid meeting on November 5, 2026. Submissions must be provided in both a bound hard copy and on a USB drive, organized into four sections: Forms, Overview, Submittals, and Appendices. Required documentation includes a Michigan Familial Relationship Disclosure Statement, an Iranian Economic Sanctions Form, and references for at least three similar projects completed within the last two years. A 5% bid security is required with the proposal, and the selected contractor must provide performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the bid amount. Payments will be processed monthly via approved AIA Payment Request Forms, subject to a 10% retainage until final project closeout.
