RFQt Aircraft Runway Deicer

The City of Fort Worth Purchasing Division is soliciting bids for non-exclusive agreements to provide aircraft runway deicer for the Aviation Department on an as-needed basis. The scope of work includes the supply and delivery of solid deicer, such as Cryotech NAAC or an equivalent conforming to SAE AMS 1431, and liquid deicer, such as Cryotech E36 or an equivalent conforming to SAE AMS 1435. All products must be biodegradable, non-flammable, and compliant with FAA Advisory Circular 150/5200-30D. Deliveries are to be made to Meacham Airport and Spinks Airport within 30 calendar days of a purchase order issuance. The contract features an initial one-year term with four optional one-year renewals. Awards will be made based on the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) criteria, meaning the contract will go to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder who meets all technical specifications. This solicitation is subject to the City of Fort Worth Small Business Program under Ordinance No. 27832-08-2025. Bids must be submitted by April 29, 2026, and must include completed RFQt-01 forms, the Bid Table, and a Small Business Enterprise Certificate if applicable. Invoices are to be submitted electronically to the city's central accounts payable office.
