RFT Loafer's Lake Park Erosion Control and Infrastructure Protection Project

TRCA on behalf of the City of Brampton is proposing to address the ongoing erosion and infrastructure risks within Loafer’s Lake Park. These proposed works will reinstate the original storm sewer outfalls, prevent loss of pipe sections and further impacts to the storm sewer system, provide protection against scour around a sanitary sewer crossing of the watercourse and re-establish stable channel banks using more natural approaches.The project site is located within Loafer’s Lake Park in the City of Brampton and the study area spans approximately 300m of the left (east) bank of Etobicoke Creek.
