Background: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is a component of the Department of the Treasury that designs, engraves, and prints U.S. banknote currency and other U.S. security products. Banknote currency manufacturing occurs at BEP Eastern Currency Facility (ECF) located in Washington, DC and BEP Western Currency Facility (WCF) located in Fort Worth, TX. BEP's primary customer is the Federal Reserve Board (FRB). Description: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing ("BEP") has a requirement for two Modular Compact Rheometer (MCR) per the specifications listed attached, one for each BEP Facility, ECF and WCF. Please see attached summary description of this requirement. This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals or Request for Quotations.
