Sealed Bids for the construction of the Project will be received and safeguarded by The Metropolitan District, at the office of the District Clerk of the Metropolitan District, located at 555 Main Street, Hartford, CT, 06103, until Tuesday March 26, 2024 at 10:00 AM local time. At that time and place, the Bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud by video teleconference. Interested parties may join either by this link https://themdc.webex.com/themdc/j.php?MTID=m53c48d83f8e72468aba393cfc367d495The Work shall consist of all labor, equipment, fees, permits, and other related costs necessary to provide for new multi-rake mechanical bar screens, new aerated grit removal equipment, new electrical and instrumentation equipment, and construction of a new headworks building and a new electrical building, along with support equipment and accessories as shown and specified. Bidders are directed to Section 01010 Summary of Work for specific details. A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference and Site Tour for the Project will be held for potential Bidders on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 9:00 am at MDC Pre-Bid Conference Room, 231 Brainard Rd, Hartford, CT.
