The Rio Puerto Nuevo Project, La Chuleta Disposal Site, is a construction effort managed by the Department of Defense through the US Army Corps of Engineers, Jacksonville District. Located in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the project involves preparing a 67-acre former municipal landfill to accept excavated material from the Rio Puerto Nuevo Flood Damage Reduction Project.
