IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic and limited staff available at the Moncton, NB bid receiving unit, bidders are encouraged to transmit their bids electronically using the epost Connect service or facsimile instead of any of the other methods of bid delivery that are available for this bid solicitation.
If you must hand deliver your bid (yourself or via courier), the on-site bid drop box must be used. Please follow the instructions on the bid box itself.
This PWGSC provides procurement services to the public in both official languages of Canada.
Procurement on behalf of CSC for items for resale by the prison canteens to inmates is NOT subject to the Trade Agreements.
REQUIREMENT:
Requesting a Standing Offer for the supply and delivery of Miscellaneous Canteen Items to the Inmates’ Canteen at Correctional Service Canada's (CSC) Institutions located in Renous and Dorchester New Brunswick and Springhill in Nova Scotia on an "as and when" requested basis for the period from October 1st, 2022 to September 30th, 2023, inclusive. The supplier MUST be compliant with the Requirement at Annex A, the Lists of Products at Annexes B.1, B.2, B.3 & B.4 and Conditions of the Request for Standing Offer. Please make note that the estimated quantities are to be used for evaluation purposes only.
Deliveries MUST be made to the following Institutions:
Atlantic Institution - Renous, New Brunswick Dorchester Penitentiary - Medium Security - Dorchester, New Brunswick Dorchester Penitentiary - Minimum Security - Dorchester, New Brunswick Springhill Institution - Springhill, Nova Scotia
MANDATORY DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS:
Call-Ups will be every (2) weeks. Deliveries must be provided within one (1) week of ordering.
Mandatory Delivery Schedules and Requirements for each individual institution are indicated in Annex A.
EVALUATION PROCEDURE AND BASIS OF SELECTION:
Standing Offer(s) will be awarded to lowest valid offer «per item» or «group of items» meeting ALL mandatory requirements, only if substantial savings can be accomplished.

There is no security associated with the requirement.
