This contract pertains to the procurement of 1,050 blind rivets designated by part number MS20601AD6W8 and NSN 5320-00-817-5299, manufactured in strict compliance with the current revision of NASM20601 Revision 3 dated 07/31/2024 and referenced military specification MIL-R-7885D(2) Supplement 1. The item is classified as a critical application component and must be produced to the latest authorized standard, with no tolerance for deviations from current specifications. All hardware must meet stringent technical and quality requirements defined in the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, and sampling must adhere to MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 with zero non-conformances permitted unless otherwise stated, maintaining stringent acceptance criteria for critical, major, and minor attributes. The rivets are subject to inspection and acceptance at origin, with no exceptions to verification protocols. Packaging must comply fully with MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129 for marking, with no special marking required, and must be palletized according to DLA packaging guidelines. Mercury and mercury compounds are explicitly prohibited in any aspect of the product, preservation, packaging, or marking, except for functional uses in specified instruments or systems as outlined by NAVSEA, and where present, portable mercury-containing devices must have shockproof integrity and dual containment. Delivery is FOB origin with a strict 170-day delivery schedule, no variance allowed in quantity, and shipment must be directed to Hill Air Force Base, Utah, using the designated DLA distribution depot.
