Roberts Ditch RMA (Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification No. COL-57415-R2)

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement EPIMS Notification Number COL-57415-R2 for the Roberts Ditch Irrigation Company. Located near Colusa in Colusa County, California, at approximately River Mile 144.2 along the Sacramento River, the project involves periodic dredging of the channel to facilitate water diversion to irrigation pumps during the irrigation season. The scope of work includes the annual removal of up to 3,000 cubic yards of sand, silt, sediment, and debris to maintain a three-foot water depth at an average width of 15 feet. Maintenance activities will be performed using a long reach excavator accessing the channel via existing access points on the east side. This agreement is executed pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code and is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Class 1 and Class 4 categorical exemptions.
