Description: SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University (hereinafter referred to as “SUNY DHSU”) currently operates Roche Diagnostics Cobas 6800 and Cobas 4800 Analyzer equipment in support for lab testing in the Clinical Virology Department at University Hospital in Brooklyn New York. DHSU seeks to enter into a 27-month agreement for reagents and consumables pursuant to Roche Premier GPO contract # PP-LA-658 and its authority under New York State Finance Law Section 163 (3) (vi), which authorizes the use of a consortium or comparable entity in lieu of using a centralized contract and without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors who sell equivalent and compatible consumables may, if interested, contact the agent in the Purchasing Department, listed below, to discuss this procurement. Equivalency and compatibility must be demonstrated by meeting the performance of, and being compatible and interchangeable with existing equipment, supplies and accessories.
