Palletization and other preparation instructions are rigidly specified, with zero tolerance for quantity variance. The contract incorporates multiple technical and quality assurance requirements sourced from the DLA Master List, including detailed sampling procedures aligned with MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 to verify critical, major, and minor attributes of the product. Manufacturers have discretion on inspection methods but must meet acceptance criteria requiring no non-conformances. The contract also mandates the removal of Government identification from any non-accepted supplies and the physical identification of bare items. The procurement is administered by the Department of Defense’s ASC Commodities Division, with Marchello Fields as the primary point of contact. All relevant technical documents and drawings are accessible via specified DLA and DIBBS web resources for solicitation participants.
