Roof Maintenance Program 2026

Communication outside of the Bonfire portal WILL NOT be accepted. Hard copies WILL NOT be accepted. Scope: The City of Columbus, Department of Finance and Management is receiving proposals until 1:00 PM local time on October 9, 2026 to procure a service contract for a Roof Maintenance Program. The Finance and Management maintains over 100 buildings with all types of roofs namely Bituminous roofs, shingled roofs, metal roofs, EPDM roofs, TPO roofs, PVC etc. The City has warranties for most of the roofs with the manufacturer but would like to establish a separate contract with a service contractor who specializes in Roof Maintenance to better monitor and maintain all the roofs to prolong their service life. Contractor must be certified to work on Soprema and Garland roofs. The primary objective of the Roof Maintenance Program is to ensure longevity, structural integrity, and optimal performance of the roofing systems. This program is intended to proactively identify and address potential issues, prevent damage, and extend the lifespan of the roof. The service contractor shall coordinate with City for more extensive repairs as needed. Additionally, the Facility Management Division monitors and maintains all buildings and integrates its data with Asset Planner contract. The selected Contractor will be responsible to upload roof reports into the Asset Planner. There will be no pre-proposal meeting. The last day to submit questions is 1:00 PM local time on October 2, 2026. Phone calls will not be accepted. This ad will be posted on the Bonfire portal within 24 hours of the Vendor Services posting.
