Roofing Requirements

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITTAION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. In preparation for a future small business set aside procurement, the 673d Contracting Squadron on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson is performing market research to determine potential small business firms that can provide for roofing requirements. The magnitude of this contract is $10,000,000.00 to $25,000,000.00. We anticipate awarding a Basic year contract with four option years. Contractor will be required to maintain and repair existing roofs and to construct new roofs on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. The work areas are: all base/post roofs except where noted otherwise. The work items include, but not limited to: remove existing built-up roof system, asbestos removal, new 4 ply modified built-up roof system, new fluid-applied elastomeric roof system, new metal roof panels, new 2 ply with flood coat, asphalt BUR system and others. The applicable NAICS code is 238160 and the FSC code is Z2JZ. Interested companies that meet the requirements stated above should submit an electronic statement outlining their company's capability and capacity to perform the work.
