STRAND, WIRE
Solicitation # SPE4A5-27-T-2320
Solicitation SPE4A5-27-T-2320, issued by the DLA Weapons Support ASC Supplier Oper OEM Division, is a request for quotations for one unit of wire strand, identified by NSN 4010016635727. The requirement is for a quantity of 1.000 EA with a required delivery date of April 18, 2027, and a delivery lead time of 156 days after order. Delivery is FOB Origin, with both inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination, specifically the DLA Distribution DDSP New Cumberland Facility in Pennsylvania. Notably, the government does not possess an approved technical data package for this item as the data is either proprietary or insufficient for competitive procurement. The contract mandates strict adherence to quality and packaging standards, including MIL-STD-129 for marking and labeling and ASTM D3951 for packaging, though the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements takes precedence. Sampling must follow MIL-STD-1916, ASQ H1331, or a comparable zero-based plan. Administrative requirements include electronic invoicing via Wide Area WorkFlow and registration in the System for Award Management. The solicitation is subject to various federal regulations, including the Buy American Act, DFARS cybersecurity reporting requirements, and prohibitions on covered defense telecommunications equipment. Offers involving additive manufacturing are ineligible for award unless specifically authorized.
