AI Contract Overview
This contract calls for the procurement of four units of wire rope, identified by NSN/Part Number 4010-01-417-8947, with delivery required within five days after the date of order. It incorporates strict technical and quality requirements as specified by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) master list, including packaging, marking, and inspection standards. Quality assurance involves sampling methods aligned with military standards (such as MIL-STD-1916 and ASQ H1331), with attribute-specific verification levels and acceptance quality limits to ensure conformance. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the point of origin, but item unique identification is not required per specific customer request. Export control regulations apply rigorously due to the presence of technical data governed under ITAR or EAR, necessitating prior authorization for disclosure or export to foreign nationals. Contractors must hold an approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification and complete required training and questionnaires to access export-controlled data. Cybersecurity requirements include adherence to CMMC Level 2 standards, both self-assessed and through certified third-party evaluations. The contract is managed by the ASC Supplier Oper OEM Division under the Department of Defense, with performance set at Tinker Air Force Base. The solicitation was posted in early May 2026 with a response deadline in mid-May 2026.
