The US Army Contracting Command - Redstone anticipates the issuance of solicitation number W58RGZ-20-R-0000 for a Firm-Fixed-Purchase Order procuring 9 Each (Extra-Large) HGU-56/P Rotary Wing Helmets (RWH) in support of PM Air Warrior. The requirement encompasses 1) design and build of inserts using the Alia Mentis Casidion Foam and 2) preparation and submittal of coupon testing in lieu of the current Foam Liner. Pursuant to 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)" Only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements". Therefore, the US Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source; Gentex Corporation, CAGE CODE: 97427, 324 Main St. Simpson, PA 18407-1182 Commercial and Government Entity for the fulfilment of this requirement. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS OR QUOTES. However, interested firms may identify their interest and capability to potentially satisfy this requirement via the submittal of proposal responses, as applicable. All proposals received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
