Canoe Procurement Group of Canada, acting on behalf of a broad coalition of public sector entities across Canada—including various provincial and territorial governments, local governments, Crown corporations, federal agencies, and not-for-profit organizations—is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Roadway Paving Equipment. This solicitation aims to establish regional or national contract solutions compliant with Canadian trade agreements, such as the Canadian Free Trade Agreement and other applicable trade partnerships. The equipment sought includes a range of paving machinery such as asphalt pavers, rollers, wideners, cold planers, concrete mixers, and related accessories and technology intended primarily for roadway paving activities. Proposals must be submitted exclusively through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal by February 26, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. Central Time, with late submissions not considered. The solicitation explicitly excludes supplies-only or services-only proposals and does not cover equipment categories addressed in other current or planned Sourcewell solicitations, such as heavy, medium, compact, and portable construction equipment or road maintenance equipment. The resulting contracts will have an initial term of four years, with possible extensions up to three additional one-year periods and further extensions under exceptional circumstances. The contract will serve a wide range of public-sector members across all Canadian provinces and territories, representing various sectors including municipal, education, and tribal governments.
