Full Description

Refuse Collection for Blue Grass Army Depot, includes base year plus 4 option years. Contractor is to furnish all equipment, tools, materials, and labor for the collection and disposal of refuse from 75 various sized dumpsters/containers (furnished by the contractor) located at established sites at Blue Grass Army Depot, Richmond KY. The contractor shall record tonnage of all refuse removed from the Depot and report that monthly to the COR. FOB is Destination, Blue Grass Army Depot Richmond KY. The Scope of Work (SOW) will be more specifically stated in the solicitation, which will be issued on/about 24 May 2010, with proposals due approximately 30 days from issue. The Solicitation Number will be W52P1J-10-T-3040. This solicitation will be unrestricted and will result in the award of a firm fixed price contract. All contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD shall be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). Offerors may register via the Internet at https://www.bpn.gov/ccr/default.aspx or contact CCR at +1 (555) 000-0000. Upon issuance, the solicitation shall be posted to the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ and http://www.fbo.gov. Offerors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. Proposals may be submitted through ASFI/FBO electronically. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon interested parties to periodically (and on closing day) access the posting site in order to check for amendments that have been incorporated into the RFQ and will require acknowledgement to be included with proposal submission. Failure to obtain and acknowledge amendments prior to the closing date may render an offerors proposal nonresponsive and the said proposal may be rejected
