HAMILITON ALLIANCE SERVICE PLAN SUMMARY Refuse from the Gulf Islands National Seashore Perdido Key Area, Fort Barrancas, and Fort Pickens will be transported to a Transfer Station located at 2910 N. Palafox St., Pensacola, FL with ultimate disposal at the Perdido Landfill, 13009 Beulah Road, Cantonment, FL. Refuse from the Gulf Islands National Seashore Gulf Breeze, Naval Live Oaks and Santa Rosa Area will be transported to the Santa Rosa Landfill located at 6337 Da Lisa Road, Milton, FL. Currently, recycling options in the area around the Gulf Islands National Seashore include recycling of paper and cardboard only. The Emerald Coast Utility Authority (ECUA) has announced plans to build a Recycling Process Facility at the Perdido Landfill in 2016; however, specific details are not yet available. Thus, this eight-month period of performance under this contract includes recycling for paper and cardboard only. Paper and Cardboard recycle material from all Gulf Islands National Seashore sites will be transported to the Republic Services Pensacola Recycling Center located at 3015 N. Palafox Street, Pensacola, FL. Paper and cardboard recycling containers will only be provided in 6-yard and 8-yard size containers. Portable and divided containers are not included. Additional 6-yard and 8-yard recycle containers are available upon request for an additional, nominal fee.
