Solicitation Number: W912LM-09-T-4004 Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: 2009- 09-23 Synopsis: The 148th Fighter Wing in Duluth, MN intends to award to a sole source Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract to QWEST Government Solutions to provide the following FIBER OPTIC CABLE INSTALLATION and associated accessories. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 237130, size standard of $14M. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within three (3) calendar days from the date of the publication of this notice.
