The contract awards refuse and recycling collection and disposal services at the Glory Hole Recreation Area within New Melones Lake, requiring the contractor to provide, place, service, and maintain 20-cubic-yard and 4-cubic-yard dumpsters and recycling bins at dispersed recreation sites including campgrounds, day-use areas, boat ramps, and parking zones. Services must be performed in strict compliance with the Bureau of Reclamation Safety and Health Standards, OSHA regulations, and the Performance Work Statement, with equipment meeting specific structural and sanitary requirements including side walls no higher than 60 inches, proper drainage, odor control, and clear labeling distinguishing recycling from general trash. The contractor must ensure uninterrupted service, replace damaged or unserviceable units within 24 hours, and adhere to a schedule allowing no more than two missed services per month.
