Full Description

NOTICE OF INTENT - Enterprise License and Maintenance support for Saba Centra Software for the Applications Development Division (AD), Internal Management Domain (IMD), Web Integration, Collaboration, Development (WICD). A purchase order will be issued for a commercial item. This purchase will be made under the Authority of FAR Part 11.105 and FAR Part 52.211-6 - Brand Name or Equal. The Internal Revenue Service intends to award on a sole source basis an unlimited Enterprise License Agreement for Saba Centra Software. This application is used extensively by IRS business units to help communicate filing season initiatives. This tool provides a real time (synchronous) on-line collaboration environment that allows over 47,000 IRS managers, project managers, and employees to engage in dialogue, training, performance support, technical troubleshooting, and various other activities that the IRS personnel perform to complete their work independent of physical location. Saba Software Inc. will provide the following: 1) Support and services for existing Saba Centra Licenses 2) Enterprise unlimited use license for Saba Centra 3) Support and Services for Saba Centra Enterprise license Only Saba has the expertise to support the above Saba Centra Software. Saba technicians have been operating in the IRS environment for over 9 years and have expert knowledge of this environment and its systems.
