Sacramento Aggregates Expansion Community Plan Amendment, Rezone, Use Permit, and Reclamation Plan Amendment

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife has extended Streambed Alteration Agreement Notification No. 1600-2009-0097-R2 to Triangle Rock Products, Inc. for the Laguna Creek Restoration Project in Sacramento County. This project serves as mitigation for environmental impacts caused by floodplain mining adjacent to Laguna Creek, which was previously permitted under a separate agreement. The scope of work includes widening the existing creek corridor to approximately 43 acres with an average width of 600 feet, preserving 250 feet west of the creek, enhancing 350 feet east of the creek, and creating new emergent wetlands. The project is conducted pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code and is located in Sacramento County at Township 7 North, Range 7 East, Section 6. To ensure the completion of all restoration activities, the agreement expiration date has been extended from December 31, 2025, to December 31, 2030. The California Department of Fish and Wildlife, acting as a responsible agency, has determined that the project will not have a significant environmental effect within its jurisdiction.
