Interested contractors must submit their responses electronically via IonWave by October 9, 2024, and also provide a hard copy in a sealed envelope addressed to Laura Williams at the District’s main office in McAllen, Texas. The project involves a contract valued between $500,000 and $2,000,000 and falls under NAICS code 333924, indicating its focus on manufacturing or installing security-related products. All communication regarding the solicitation must be directed through the designated IonWave platform or the primary contact, Graciela Garza, via email or phone, with strict instructions to avoid discussing the project with District employees or trustees to prevent disqualification. Respondents are required to follow specific submission procedures, including printing and attaching all proposal documents, original bid bond, and submitting the hard copy in a sealed envelope. Electronic submissions via IonWave are accepted but will be secondary to the hard copy, which takes precedence in case of conflicts. The District emphasizes that questions about the solicitation should be submitted through the IonWave “Questions” feature by the specified deadline, and no inquiries will be answered by phone or email outside of this process. The project is located in Texas, and detailed instructions for proposal submission and additional project information are accessible through the provided IonWave link.
