Introduction: The Saint Croix National Scenic Riverway requires the removal of solid waste from their maintenance facilities on a regular, recurring basis as per the objectives below. Services Required: The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision, and other items and services necessary to perform solid waste removal. Services shall include placement and maintenance of a 6-yard dumpster at each location. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all Federal, State, and local regulations. Locations: - Lower District Maintenance Facility, 1009 County Road S, Dresser, WI 54009 - Marshland District Maintenance Facility, 15975 Hwy 70 (PO Box 134), Pine City, MN 55063. Lift Quantities (number of times dumpsters must be emptied): Lower District Maintenance Facility - weekly (four times per month) from April 1 to September 30, and every other week (twice per month) from October 1 to March 31. Total of 36 occurrences. Marshland Maintenance Facility - every other week (twice per month) from May 1 to October 30, once per month in December and March. Contractor is required to coordinate pick-ups with the staff during December and March as NPS personnel are not always present. Total of 14 occurrences. Period of Performance: The base period of performance will be May 1, 2015 to April 30, 2020. Annual contract with 4 option years.
