The County of Hawaii is seeking to establish a contract for the furnishing and delivery of Sam Browne duty belts to the Hawaii Police Department. The solicitation emphasizes the importance of completing all required fields in the RFQ form, including the fax number and exceptions box, prior to submitting a quote, as incomplete forms may result in disqualification. Vendors must submit their responses through the designated Public Purchase platform, and all questions regarding the bid must be directed in writing to the specified Bid Contact; oral clarifications are not permitted. The contract will be awarded as a single lot, requiring vendors to quote on all line items to be considered. Successful vendors will receive a purchase order via email. Vendors are encouraged to register with Hawaii Compliance Express (HCE) to ensure compliance with state procurement statutes, especially for awards exceeding $2,500. Registration may take several weeks, so early enrollment is advised. If a vendor is not registered or compliant at the time of award notification, the contract may be awarded to another qualified bidder. Additionally, vendors may choose to submit bids under an active State of Hawaii Price and Vendor List Contract, with the applicable contract terms replacing those in this solicitation. The contract value is estimated between $50,000 and $150,000, and the response deadline is October 10, 2024. Further details and the bid submission link are available on the Public Purchase website.
