Through this Request for Proposal, the City of Cranbrook, here after referred to as the “City”, invites proposals for the 4th phase of construction of sanitary lagoon upgrades at the City wastewater lagoons. Substantial Performance for all Work (the construction and associated work which the City seeks to be provided by the Proponent, as listed below) is to be achieved no later than August 28th, 2026. Note: The Contract compiled as a result of this RFP will be the MMCD (Master Municipal Construction Documents) 2019 Unit Price Contract, together with the Form of Agreement, Supplementary General Conditions, Supplementary Specifications, and Contract Drawings as provided in Attachment D – Contract Documents. The Work shall be performed as per the Contract Drawings listed in Attachment D Schedule 2 of this RFP and, MMCD 2019 Standard Detail Drawings (available at www.mmcd.net). This RFP applies to and governs the preparation of Proposals for the Contract listed above. The Contract is generally for the following summary of Work:  Replacement of existing headworks screens and components with new screens and all associated new components including but not limited to a backup generator and fine screen enclosure.
