The SASPO Spring 2014 Target List is a curated subset of the Requirements Projections On the Web (RPOW) that focuses on items for which the government holds data rights, has fewer than three identified sources, and anticipates procurement within the next three fiscal years. These items are free from obsolescence concerns and are organized by Air Logistics Complexes. This list is intended to assist in strategic alternate sourcing efforts and is available for download on the SASPO website. It serves primarily as a planning tool rather than a solicitation or purchase commitment, as the projections are subject to change due to shifting customer demands and priorities. The solicitation is categorized as a sources-sought notice under NAICS code 336412, which relates to aerospace product and parts manufacturing. The notice was posted on May 8, 2014, with points of contact including Ryan L. Perry and Diane Owen, both reachable via provided email and phone contacts. Although no set-aside restrictions or specific agency names are indicated, the listing offers potential suppliers insight into upcoming procurement opportunities where government data rights are held and competition is limited, facilitating early engagement in the acquisition process.
