Full Description

The US Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Intelligent Designs, LLC 1640 Raleigh Ct., Wheaton, IL 60189. NRL has a requirement for satellite networks to support ongoing research and development (R&D) efforts as well as overseas contingency operations at locations in the Continental United States and outside of the US. The contractor is required to provide remote and on-site support for communications links and their associated networks in the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR). The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement.
