Sauble Beach Community Centre Roof Replacement

The Town of South Bruce Peninsula is soliciting quotations for the replacement of the flat roof and maintenance of the metal roof at the Sauble Beach Community Centre. The scope of work includes the removal and disposal of the existing membrane and metal counter flashing, the installation of a fibrated asphalt-based aluminum roof coating, and the removal of a redundant stack and cricket-shaped snow guard. All insulation used must be FM approved, and the successful contractor is required to provide a non-prorated, 30-year No Dollar Limit leak-free materials and labour warranty that includes annual no-charge follow-up inspections. Sealed bids must be submitted electronically via the Town's Bids and Tenders System by 3:00 pm local time on October 29, 2026. Mandatory submission documents include a quotation form, a work plan and schedule, a statement by the bidder, and at least three municipal or business references for similar services; failure to provide these references will invalidate the quote. Evaluation is based on meeting established criteria, with the Town reserving the right to disqualify proponents based on financial analysis, past performance, or misrepresentations. Contractors must comply with all Federal and Provincial safety statutes, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act and WSIB requirements, and ensure the site is returned to its original condition upon completion.
