SBA WBC Modernization Initiative FY26 - Georgia

The Small Business Administration Office of Women's Business Ownership is seeking proposals under solicitation SB-OEDWB-26-003 to establish a Women’s Business Centers modernization and alignment initiative in Georgia. This initiative utilizes a Lead Center Model supported by a network of Service Centers to provide coordinated, statewide business services. The selected awardee, which must be a private non-profit organization certified under section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code and reside in Georgia, will design an integrated service delivery approach to align resources with the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. Key focus areas include rural business development, manufacturing and onshoring, childcare business support, food supply chain industry, critical minerals, and addressing skilled labor shortages. This funding opportunity is structured as a cooperative agreement with a project duration of up to 60 months, consisting of a 12-month base period and four optional 12-month extensions starting September 30, 2026. Applicants must maintain an active System for Award Management registration and a Unique Entity Identifier. Proposals are evaluated on a 100-point scale, focusing on project description, applicant capability, data collection and program evaluation, and the proposed budget. Submissions must be made electronically via Grants.gov by September 13, 2026, and must include a technical proposal, project abstract, and detailed budget justifications. Awardees are required to provide non-federal matching funds and comply with 13 CFR Part 131 and 2 CFR 200 regulations.
