SBIPS domain of Expertise: Systems IntegrationThe Contractor will utilize their subject matter expertise, to evolve the Immunization Information System (IIS), through continued feature development, integration services, reviewing and advising on risks, mitigation strategies and security requirements. They will also work with stakeholders to ensure the products success.This requirement will focus primarily on the following goals:Implementing secure communications with Provinces and Territories (PTs) for improved exchange and flow of Health related data;The migration from legacy Canadian Adverse Events Following Immunization Surveillance Solutions (CAEFISS), to the newly developed and evolving Cloud CAEFISS, which includes the move from on-premises infrastructure to cloud-based infrastructure;Open Data Exchange with other/future modules developed for VaccineConnect, and potentially other internal PHAC surveillance solutions.While in development, the Contractor will be responsible for development, integration, release management, (including bug fixes and defects), training and support to further develop the Immunization Information System product. Finally, the contractor will be responsible for the transition of all these functions to the PHAC organization so it may be maintained in-house. This includes subsequent source code, documentation and licenses required to operate the solution.
