Military Sealift Command (MSC) is seeking information on potential sources to provide the Sub-Bottom Profiler (SBP) 120-3 System for the USNS ZEUS. The Government intends to sole source this requirement to Kongsberg Underwater Technology, Inc. as they are the only known company with providing Sub-Bottom Profiler System with integration to the other systems on board. The delivery date for this requirement is 15 October 2016. All Small Businesses, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Certified HUBZone and Certified 8(a) Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. The anticipated award of a contract is TBD. The Appropriate NAICS Code is 334511, Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing, which has a size standard of 750 employees. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool used to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of an award.
