REQUEST FOR INFORMATION / SOURCES SOUGHT Scale Calibration Services Beale Air Force Base, California 1. Introduction. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.215-3, "Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes", this Sources Sought (SS) Notice/Request for Information (RFI) is for information and planning purposes only at this time and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the United States Air Force (USAF). Responses are strictly voluntary and are not to be interpreted as a quote and/or proposal in anticipation of a future contract award. 2. Purpose. The 9th Contracting Squadron located at Beale Air Force Base, California, 95903, is conducting market research to assess the availability of businesses to provide non-personal services including all labor, tools, parts, materials, and transportation necessary to provide Scale Calibration services at Beale AFB, CA 95903. 3. Requirement Details. Please see the attached DRAFT version Statement of Work (SOW) for further description of the requirement. Changes may be made to the SOW in any resulting Request for Quote/Proposal. Below are anticipated contract classifications: North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code: 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. Product and Service Code (PSC): J052 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment- Measuring Tools Standard Industry Code (SIC): 7699, Repair Services, Nec. Contract Type: Firm-fixed price (FFP) This contract will be comprised of a base year and (4) option years. The performance period for the base year will be from 1 year from award date; option years will be on an annual basis thereafter, issued at the discretion of the Government. 4. Disclaimer.
