This contract pertains to the procurement of two units of a commercial off-the-shelf weighing scale, identified by part number APEX and NSN 6670-01-721-7695, manufactured by Cardinal Scale Manufacturing. The item is subject to technical and quality standards referenced from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, with applicable revisions controlled by the solicitation issue date. No Item Unique Identification is required per the requesting service customer’s directive. Sampling and inspection follow MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 zero-based plans, with critical, major, and minor attributes assigned verification levels VII, IV, II or AQLs 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0, respectively; unspecified attributes are treated as major. Acceptance requires zero non-conformances unless otherwise stated, and the manufacturer may elect attribute or variable inspection methods. Packaging must conform to MIL-STD-2073-1E with preservation method 10, wrapping material CA, and packaging code U, while marking adheres to MIL-STD-129 without special codes. Palletization complies with DLA Packaging Requirements RP001. Delivery is FOB origin within 20 days to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, with a strict zero variance in quantity.
