SCE Charge Ready Parks Program Lake Perris

The proposed project is "Charge Ready Parks Pilot"; Southern California Edison (SCE) will design, install, maintain, and own electric vehicle (EV) charging equipment for a term of 8 years. State Parks is required by Public Utilities Code section 7 40.14 to determine which state parks or beaches are suitable for charging stations under this program that serve residents of disadvantaged communities. For these purposes, "disadvantaged communities" means communities identified by the California Environmental Protection Agency pursuant to the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund Investment Plan and Communities Revitalization Act (Chapter 4.1 (commencing with Section 39710) of Part 2 of Division 26 of the Health and Safety Code). Disturbance will be limited to twenty-one (21) existing parking spaces will be impacted. The project work location is on the east side of the park in the parking lot day-use parking lot 10.
