Requirements:


The Laboratory of Neurogenetics conducts genetic analyses of DNA samples to determine the genetic contribution to various mental health conditions including alcohol use disorders.  One method of DNA analysis uses array chips to interrogate multiple SNPs at the same time.  The array chips are most efficiently processed using a Tecan LiHa robot.  The purpose of this contract is to obtain preventative maintenance and emergency repair service when needed for the Tecan LiHa robot system.


Provide 1 preventative maintenance visit (arranged with Laboratory personnel at a time convenient to both) to ensure that the LiHa robot is working properly.  The company will provide the following on an as needed basis: 


  1.  Full coverage for parts, labor and travel for unexpected breakdowns of the LiHa system giving assurance against unexpected costly repairs. The company will have an onsite response time of 2 business days (on average) 

  1. The company will all replace reagents that were rendered useless due to hardware failures of the LiHa system. 

  1. Hardware and software updates to the LiHA system will be provided at no additional cost. 

  1. LiHa systems users will have access to remote technical support, on-site applications support and discounts on advanced training as needed.
