The contract specifies the procurement of assembled screws under NSN 5305-01-522-9506, with two line items each for one unit, to be delivered to USS ANCHORAGE LPD 23 and USS NEW ORLEANS LPD 18 by July 23 and July 27, 2026 respectively, with a 20-day delivery window. All supplies must conform to stringent technical and quality standards referenced from the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, including packaging per MIL-STD-2073-1E and marking in alignment with MIL-STD-129. Mercury or mercury-containing compounds are strictly prohibited in the hardware, preservation, packaging, and marking processes except for specific approved uses such as batteries, sensors, and instrument components, which must include secondary containment and meet NAVSEA 5100-003D standards. Sampling and inspection follow MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 with zero non-conformances required unless otherwise stipulated, and attributes are classified with strict verification levels. Item Unique Identification is not mandated per customer request, and configuration changes require formal engineering change proposals or variance requests. Packaging must comply with DLA’s RP001 requirements, including palletization and material specifications, and freight must be shipped via traceable means excluding parcel post. Delivery is FOB destination with zero quantity variance allowed, and inspection and acceptance occur at the final delivery point. All vendors must reference the DLA unit of issue guide and utilize the VSM system for vendor-specific instructions.
