29--CONTROL PANEL,AIRCR, IN REPAIR/MODIFICATION OF
Solicitation # N0038326QPB68
The U.S. Navy’s NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support in Philadelphia intends to award a sole-source contract to RHEIN METALL CANADA INC for the repair of five units of NSN 7R-2995-123637794-SX, a control panel for aircraft, with part number 5070000-064000.000.0. This repair work is restricted to this vendor as it is the original equipment manufacturer and the only recognized source capable of performing the task, with no technical data or drawings available to the government for alternative sourcing. The government does not hold any data rights, and no other suppliers can be used without formal source approval, which will not delay this procurement. Delivery terms are FOB origin, and the Buy American provisions will apply. The acquisition will follow FAR Part 15 procedures, not commercial item acquisition policies, though firms may submit commercial item alternatives within fifteen days of notice. All proposals must be submitted electronically via NECO, with no hard copies or phone inquiries accepted. The solicitation is expected to be issued July 23, 2026, with responses due by August 27, 2026, and award anticipated by September 25, 2026. UID marking requirements apply, the NAICS code is 336412, and this is not a small business set-aside. Interested parties must contact Jason Sklencar via email to submit capability statements.
