Quality assurance provisions specify sampling and inspection methods based on military standards, including MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331, with defined levels and acceptance criteria for attributes. The contract incorporates detailed technical and quality controls, including requirements for physical identification and removal of government marks from non-accepted supplies. The unit pricing is to be reported with zero allowable quantity variance. The procurement falls under federal acquisition for the Department of Defense, managed by the ASC Commodities Division, with Michael Blain designated as the primary point of contact. The performance location, shipment instructions, and compliance with defense information protection measures are clearly outlined, reflecting a rigorous procurement and quality control process for these specialized fasteners.
