This contract is for the procurement of eight units of a close tolerance screw, identified by NSN 5305-01-351-6320, under solicitation number SPE4A6-26-T-13U0 by the Department of Defense’s ASC Commodities Division. The contract specifies that the screws must meet strict technical and quality requirements outlined in the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, which governs the standards, including proper packaging, marking, and shipment. Packaging requirements follow ASTM D3951 and MIL-STD-129, with palletization per DLA procurement standards. The delivery will be FOB origin, with inspection and acceptance at the destination, specifically the DLA Distribution facility in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania. The delivery timeframe is 171 days from contract award, with the need-by date set for October 4, 2026, and final delivery required by December 18, 2026. Quality assurance is enforced through established sampling procedures compliant with MIL-STD-1916 or equivalent zero-based plans, with specified acceptance quality levels for critical, major, and minor attributes. The contract also includes provisions for configuration change management, marking requirements for bare items, and removal of government identification from rejected supplies. Due to the specialized nature of the screws, manufacturing may involve casting or forging tooling that the government might not possess, and assistance requests for tooling are directed to relevant DLA engineering contacts. The contract involves multiple approved manufacturers for supply sources, and all relevant regulatory and compliance standards are incorporated to ensure product conformity and proper logistics handling throughout the procurement process.

General Info

Procure eight close tolerance screws meeting DLA quality standards, delivered FOB origin by December 2026.
