The contract is for the procurement of a machine screw identified by NSN 5305-00-912-4818, compliant with the National Aerospace Standard NASM35276 Revision D dated 03/31/2015 and designated as a commercial item of a type. The hardware must conform to the current revision of the defining standard, and prior revisions are acceptable only for items manufactured before the solicitation date. All items must meet strict traceability requirements for naval aircraft launch and recovery equipment, with bare item markings including the contract number, NAWC CAGE code, and part number as specified on technical drawings, in addition to MIL-STD-130N identification standards. The screw is classified as a critical application item and must not contain intentionally added mercury or mercury compounds, except for permitted exceptions such as batteries, fluorescent lamps, or sensors, which must include secondary containment per NAVSEA 5100-003D. Sampling and inspection follow MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 Table 1 with zero non-conformances required unless otherwise specified, and attributes are assigned verification levels or AQLs accordingly. Packaging must adhere to MIL-STD-2073-1E and DLA’s RP001 requirements, with marking compliant with MIL-STD-129 and no special marking codes applied. Palletization and shipping must follow DLA guidelines, with delivery FOB origin and no variance allowed in quantity. Inspection and acceptance occur at origin. Two delivery quantities are specified: 16 units to Corpus Christi, TX with a need ship date of June 26, 2026 and a required delivery date of October 7, 2027, and 985 units to Hill AFB, UT under the same constraints.
