AI Contract Overview
The contract solicitation SPE4A6-26-T-06LZ requests the procurement of 60,000 machine screws identified by NSN 5305000176099, supplied in units of issue PG (50 each), with delivery due within 171 days from the As Directed or Ordered date, and a need ship date of January 10, 2027. The screws are classified as a critical application item and must conform to NASM27039 Revision 6, with bare item marking per part number MS27039DD1-26. All supplies must comply with the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, which supersede other standards such as ASTM D3951 for packaging. Packaging and labeling must adhere to MIL-STD-129, including barcoding and proper identification of unit of issue and quantity per unit pack, while palletization must follow RP001: DLA Packaging Requirements for Procurement. Sampling procedures require zero non-conformances in the lot using MIL-STD-1916, ASQ H1331 Table 1, or comparable zero-based plans; MIL-STD-105/ASQ Z1.4 may be used only to determine sample size, not acceptance criteria. Inspections and acceptance occur at the destination, located at DLA Distribution Cherry Point, North Carolina, with FOB Origin terms. The contract mandates submission of Safety Data Sheets and hazardous material identification per 52.223-3 and 252.223-7001, and transportation by sea, if applicable, must use U.S.-flag vessels unless waived. All offers must be submitted electronically via DIBBS, and the contract incorporates numerous FAR and DFARS clauses related to small business representation, cybersecurity compliance, trafficking prevention, employment verification, sustainable products, and safeguarding of covered contractor information systems. The contracting officer is Antonia Willcox, and invoicing must be conducted through Wide Area WorkFlow. No unit price or total contract value is specified in the solicitation, and no evaluation factors or award basis are provided.
