The contract is for the procurement of machine screws, specifically identified by the part number MS24694C200 and NSN 5305-01-256-6788, with a total quantity of 10 hundred dozen units. The delivery is required within 163 days to the DLA Distribution Depot at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, with both inspection and acceptance taking place at the destination. The contract mandates strict adherence to technical and quality requirements as set forth in the DLA Master List and applicable standards including MIL-STD-1916 for sampling, NASM24694 and NASM7839 for part specifications, and MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging. Packaging and marking must comply with MIL-STD-129 and DLA packaging requirements, and the screws must be free from mercury or mercury-containing compounds throughout processing, packaging, and marking. Marking on the screws must include the material symbol, manufacturer’s symbol, and lot number, and if space is limited, markings may be applied to the packaging instead. The contract also highlights zero tolerance for non-conformance in sampling unless otherwise specified, and allows the use of either attribute or variable inspection methods per MIL-STD-1916. Transportation and shipping instructions emphasize delivery FOB origin and specify compliance with relevant DLAD procedural notes. The contract is issued by the Department of Defense, ASC Commodities Division, with Daniel Fink as the primary contact. The solicitation and response deadlines are clearly stated, emphasizing compliance with federal acquisition and quality standards throughout.
