The item is classified as a commercial item and must conform strictly to the current revision of the applicable part standard, with past manufacturing revisions deemed acceptable only if they were current at the time of production. All threads must be inspected per System 22 of FED-STD-H28/20, with exceptions for self-locking nuts and threads below specified diameters. Sampling procedures must follow MIL-STD-1916 or comparable zero-based plans, with critical, major, and minor attributes assigned verification levels VII, IV, and II or AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0 respectively. Zero non-conformances are required in sample lots unless otherwise stipulated.
