The contract pertains to the supply of 45 plain seals identified by NSN 5330-01-542-4717 under solicitation SPE4A5-26-T-306V, with a delivery requirement of 169 days after order. Technical and quality requirements are governed by the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, with revisions effective on the solicitation or award date depending on acquisition size. Packaging must comply with MIL-DTL-117, Type II, Class C, Style 1, using a medium-duty, waterproof, greaseproof, and opaque bag to protect against UV degradation, applicable to direct vendor deliveries, foreign military sales, and stock shipments. Sampling must follow MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 Table 1, using zero-based acceptance criteria unless otherwise directed; critical, major, and minor attributes are assigned verification levels VII, IV, and II or AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0 respectively. Mercury and mercury-containing compounds are prohibited from direct contact with supplied hardware except in specified exceptions such as batteries, fluorescent lamps, required instruments, weapon systems, and NAVSEA-approved chemical reagents; portable devices containing mercury must include shockproof construction and a secondary containment barrier per NAVSEA 5100-003D.
