Solicitation # SPE8ES-27-T-0049
Solicitation SPE8ES-27-T-0049 is a fixed-price procurement issued by DLA Troop Support Construction and Equipment for 18 gallons of exterior, solvent-based, semi-transparent stain in Dark Redwood. The material must comply with Master Painters Institute (MPI) Performance Standard #13 and MPI Green Performance Standard (GPS) 1-12, and must be sourced from the MPI Approved Products List. The item is classified as a Type II shelf-life item with a 36-month duration, requiring that at least 85 percent of the shelf life remains upon receipt by the government. Delivery is required within 55 days after order to DLA Distribution San Joaquin in Tracy, California, with inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination. The contractor must adhere to strict packaging and safety standards, including MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging, MIL-STD-129 for marking, and RP001 for palletization. Because the stain is classified as hazardous material, the supplier must provide Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and labels in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.1200 and Federal Standard No. 313-E. One-gallon containers must be round with multiple friction closures and include a bail-type handle. Administratively, the contract requires the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system for invoicing and incorporates various FAR and DFARS clauses regarding equal opportunity, sustainable products, and cybersecurity safeguarding of covered defense information.
