The Department of Treasury/Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has a requirement for support services for Information Technology (IT) Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Threat Response and Remediation, Oversight and Strategic Management, Security Policy Organization to develop and deliver IT Security Policy and Guidance, providing enterprise security controls that safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IRS systems and applications. The IT Cybersecurity CTR&R, Security Policy Organization ensures that IRS security policies are developed in accordance with the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), Office of Management and Budget (OMB), National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Department of Treasury, and industry best practices for information assurance and cybersecurity. For information purposes, the services described shall be in accordance with the Department of Treasury/Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Performance Work Statement entitled, PWS Security Policy Support Services. The solicitation 8312 will be available on April 6, 2023 and will be distributed solely through eBuy in which the RFQ will be posted to VETS 2 schedule holders. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through ebuy. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring that site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
